Hi! Thanks for taking time to help us develop the relayer service for expediting CargoX document transactions to the blockchain.

During the next two weeks you will have the opportunity to try out the relaying technologies in order to get familiar with it and make yourself ready for the production environment.

Here's a brief step by step explanation on what each relayer does:

1. Relayer queries the CargoX API to get available signature payloads
2. Encapsulates a payload into a transaction and submits it to the blockchain (spends a bit of matic)
3. For each successfully submitted signature payload (i.e. the relayer is the first one to do so for this signature) the relayer receives some CXO as a reward ($0.30 worth, while $0.30 worth is sent to the 0x000..0 black hole) - provided that the relayer holds enough CXO to be eligible for the reward.

The basic idea is that the amount of Matic spent is less than the received reward, which is compensation for relaying transaction. Similar to mining fees that miners and…

CargoX Relayers on Mumbai Testnet

Good evening friends. Here's a bit of an announcement on relayers: the relay smart contract will be released next week along with a sample implementation of a relayer. The contract will be deployed on the mumbai testnet and a test API endpoint will be provided where we will produce test signature payloads that you will be able to relay. In order to receive some test CXO rewards you will need some fake CXO.

Basically what this means
- We will start with public testing sometime next week
- The plan is to go live with relayers by end of the month if everything goes well
- The CXO treshold for rewards on the live network will be announced the week after next week

What you need to do to be a part of the test:
- Generate a fresh private key that you will use for relaying (e.g. use https://vanity-eth.tk/)
- Get some test Matic from a faucet (e.g. use https://faucet.polygon.technology/)

What we will do:
- We will send you some test CXO which will be used instead of real CXO on the testnet
- We will provide you with a sample implementation (with source) of a relayer that you will be able to run
- We will provide the relay smart contract source code for your inspection and scrutiny
